UAE-headquartered Al Tamimi & Company has hired Stephen Lansdown as the head of its Qatar office from the London office of Hill Dickinson, where he led the commercial team.

Lansdown advises on high-value issues, contracts and projects for corporates and state-owned bodies with a focus on energy performance contracting, district heating projects and asset and project finance structures.

Prior to spending 18 years with Hill Dickinson, he had stints at Herbert Smith and Clifford Chance.

Lansdown replaces Mohamed Khodeir, who is set to head Al Tamimi’s office in Egypt.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
