Asian Legal Business has announced the list of finalists for the Korea Law Awards 2015, which will be held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on Friday, November 13.

Kim & Chang, Shin & Kim and Bae, Kim & Lee are the frontrunners for the ALB Korea Law Awards 2015, with 25, 23 and 22 nominations, respectively. Fellow Korean firms Lee & Ko and Yulchon are close behind with 18 nods each, while Yoon & Yang has 11 nominations.

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and DLA Piper are the leading international firms for the awards, with nine, eight and six nominations, respectively.

Among in-house teams, CJ E&M and The Walt Disney Co (Korea) have three nominations each, while Google Korea, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Oracle Korea, Samsung Engineering Co, Seoul Broadcasting System and SK Hynix have two nods each.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner, which will be attended by Korea’s top lawyers, in-house counsel, bankers, academics and members of the judiciary.

The ALB Korea Law Awards 2015 covers a total of 23 awards, comprising 14 law firm, four in-house and five deal categories.
