DLA Piper has recruited corporate specialist Ben Gillespie in Dubai as the head of its Middle East corporate practice from Addleshaw Goddard.

Gillespie advises multinational corporations, private equity firms and specialises in regional and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity investments matters. Prior to his stint at Addleshaw Goddard, Gillespie was a partner at Clyde & Co in Dubai.

“Ben's extensive experience advising local and international clients on high value, complex deals throughout the region adds to our existing capability, providing us with specialist M&A and private equity expertise that can be leveraged across our nine GCC offices for the benefit of our clients,” said Peter Somekh, DLA Piper’s regional managing partner, in a statement.
