Morrison & Foerster has recruited Joshua Isenberg as a real estate partner in the firm’s Tokyo office from Paul Hastings.

Isenberg focuses real estate transactions such as acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, ground leases, senior and mezzanine financing, as well as construction and development concerns. He has advised institutional and private clients in retail, industrial, office, hotel, multifamily and mixed-use projects. He also has experience in renewable energy, particularly in solar development projects and related financings.

“Josh’s deep experience representing Japanese corporates in their overseas real estate investments is impressive, and his addition complements our market-leading team in Tokyo,” said Eric Piesner, MoFo’s firmwide managing partner for Asia, in a statement.
