Zhong Lun Law Firm has recruited corporate specialist Alan Xu as a partner at its Hong Kong office from Simmons & Simmons.
Admitted to practice law in China and New York, Xu advises clients on cross-border M&A, joint ventures and other forms of investment. He also had stints at K&L Gates and Clifford Chance in Hong Kong prior to joining Simmons & Simmons.
Latham & Watkins has advised French industrial group Seche Environnement on its S$605 million ($445 million) agreement to buy Singapore’s ECO Industrial Environmental Engineering from Beijing Capital Eco-Environment Protection Group.
