Dentons has appointed Matthew Showler as a partner in its dispute resolution practice in Dubai from King and Wood Mallesons.

An international arbitration and litigation specialist Showler advises financial institutions, multi-national corporations, governmental institutions, NGOs, and heads of states on disputes arising in financial, shareholder and fraud, TMT, construction, energy, real estate and employment matters.

"Matthew is well recognised in the market as an outstanding practitioner. He has a breadth of experience in all forms of dispute resolution and his arrival further strengthens our regional dispute resolution offering,” said Michael Kerr, Dentons' Mid-East managing partner, in a statement.
