Nominations are now open for Asian Legal Business’ inaugural Philippines Law Awards, which will be announced at a gala dinner on the evening of July 22 in Manila. Awards will be given across 25 categories, including Law Firm of the Year, In-House Counsel of the Year and Managing Partner of the Year. A full list of the categories can be found here.

Following in the footsteps of highly respected law awards across Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Korea Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia, ALB will celebrate the expertise for both in-house counsel and law firms in the Philippines, and offer the chance to the leading firms and individuals to be honored at the ceremony. Ranajit Dam, Managing Editor of Asian Legal Business said: “This is a great opportunity for the Philippines’ leading lights to get genuine recognition for their work in the field, and it promises to be a special night for all involved.”

The awards will be adjudicated on by an independent panel of experts, comprised of leading in-house and law firm representatives, professors, heads of industry bodies and members of the judiciary, maintaining ALB’s reputation of impartiality and independence in selecting the best of the best.
