Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has announced that it will be terminating its Singapore joint law venture (JLV) with local outfit Asia Practice.

The UK-headquartered firm, which set up an office in Singapore in 1998, established its JLV with Asia Practice in 2011 with the aim of practising Singapore law alongside its international offerings. The combined firm had 12 partners in all.

In a statement issued by WFW, the firm said that it would continue to provide services in the transportation, oil and gas, commodities, energy and natural resources, and real estate sectors to its clients through its network relationships and contacts.
