Reed Smith has entered into a formal law alliance (FLA) in Singapore with local practice Resource Law.

The eight-lawyer Resource Law team is led by Mohan Subbaraman, who moved to Reed Smith last year from Incisive Law, Ince & Co’s alliance firm in Singapore. Also in the team is Kohe Hasan, who was hired by Reed Smith as a partner in September from Oon & Bazul.

The FLA will focus on advisory, transactional, corporate, and dispute resolution matters relating to industries and practices including energy and natural resources, maritime, financial industries, insurance, regulatory, restructuring and life sciences.

Other notable recent FLAs in Singapore include Withers KhattarWong, Herbert Smith Freehills and Prolegis, and Holman Fenwick Willan and Asia Legal.
