Simmons & Simmons has hired Simon McKnight as a partner in its Hong Kong office from Linklaters, where he was a London-based counsel in the capital markets team.

McKnight, who will join Simmons’ financial markets practice, specialises in credit and equity derivatives and structured products transactions.  His recent experience includes working on various aspects of the Lehman Brothers administration.

Earlier this month, Simmons announced partner hires in Germany and Netherlands, both aimed at expanding its international capital markets practice.
