Colin Ng & Partners (CNP) has advised an investment group keen on funding two Singapore financial technology or fintech startups, Planar Investments and Dragon Wealth.

Operating under the brand Welnvest, Planar Investments is focused on personal finance, assisting individuals in controlling their finances and making better money-related decisions.

On the other hand, Dragon Wealth specialises in data management, helping relationship managers with client preferences and data.

Funds and financial services partner Amit Ramkrishna Dhume handled both transactions for CNP.

In the first big M&A deal in India this year, leading firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has guided FMCG major Hindustan Unilever (HUL) on its acquisition of 90.5 percent stake in Jaipur-based skincare startup Minimalist for close to $350 million (29.5 billion rupees).
