Norton Rose Fulbright has opened a new office in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG), which will focus on doing resources work.

The new office is expected to advise the local government as well as companies on projects and transactions in growth-rich sectors including infrastructure, power, ports, roads, property, mining, oil and gas and financial services.

The PNG office will be headed by local lawyer Karo Lelai, formally general counsel with Kumul Minerals (Petromin). She will be supported by Sydney-based corporate partners Anthony Latimer and Steve Johns.
