The Singapore office of UK law firm Olswang has launched a public policy practice for the technology, media and telecoms (TMT) sector.

The new practice, led by partner Matt Pollins, looks to help companies, governments and industry bodies navigate the regulatory landscape in Asia.

Olswang formally opened in Singapore in February 2012 as one of the few international firms with a specific TMT focus. Its clients in the region include organizations like BHP Billiton, Dentsu Aegis Network, Dong-A Pharmaceuticals, LG, Microsoft and Unilever.

Pollins was named as a partner in February last year, around the time Andrew Stott took over the helm of the Singapore office.
