U.S.-headquartered Dechert has added funds partner Michael P. Wong in Hong Kong from K&L Gates.

He specialises in fund formation, fund investments and retail fund registration. He focuses on a wide scope of investment funds including hedge, private equity, debt, real estate and venture capital. In addition, Wong is extensively experienced in financial services regulatory matters such as licensing, compliance, marketing and distribution of financial products, disclosure of shareholding interests and market misconduct. 

Prior to joining K&L Gates in 2015, Wong was counsel at Allen & Overy.
