Leading UK firm requires a compliance officer to provides advice and guidance to partners, lawyers and business services staff across the full spectrum of risk and compliance issue for SE Asia.
The Role
- Professional Standards and Practice
- Matter inception conflicts and AML
- General compliance coverage
- Training and development
- Global and regional initiatives
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a law firm, bank or financial institution or similar.
- Good understanding of local bar regulations and law firms.
- Good understanding of local anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, data privacy and insider regulations.
- Experience in implementing internal policies and controls in relation to the above.
- Experience delivering compliance-related training.
- Professional compliance qualification is desirable.
- Multiple roles so applicants at the junior, mid and senior level welcome to apply
