Hogan Lovells has appointed banking lawyer Matthew Leigh as a finance partner in Singapore from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Leigh, who was a senior associate at Norton Rose’s asset finance practice in Singapore, acts for banks, financial institutions, lessors and borrowers in a wide range of jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Norton Rose, he had a five-year stint as an associate at Watson, Farley & Williams in London.

“Singapore is an increasingly important global growth market. Matt's in-depth knowledge of the local finance market and the relationships he brings will complement our existing practice and help to deliver our growth objectives, both locally and globally,” said Sharon Lewis, global head of Hogan Lovells’ finance practice, in a statement.
