Thai law firm Apisith & Alliance has appointed Mark D'Alelio, Duane Morris & Selvam (DMS) Myanmar’s managing director, as a partner in its corporate and commercial practice group.

D'Alelio, who is expected to join the Bangkok-headquartered firm in May, specialises in corporate and general commercial law, particularly involving foreign investment into the ASEAN region.

His practice also covers all forms of foreign direct investments and M&A as well as corporate structuring for investment and commercial contracts with local and international clients.

Prior to DMS, he was with DFDL Myanmar as senior legal advisor. He also had a previous stint as managing partner of LHG Vietnam.
