Veyrah Law, a new firm focused on corporate and M&A matters, has opened in Mumbai. 

Co-founded by corporate specialist Ajay Joseph and of counsel Sandhya Sondhi, Veyrah specialises in general corporate advisory, M&A, VC and PE, real estate, and corporate dispute resolution. The boutique firm will primarily cater to domestic and international mid-market enterprises operating in India.

Joseph, who was most recently a partner at Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial laws, particularly in corporate acquisitions, cross-border investments, takeovers and mergers (unlisted and listed) as well as VC and PE investments.

He also had stints with the now-defunct Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co. and Khaitan and Co. 

Sondhi, who will head Veyrah’s real estate practice, acts for clients on transactions including acquisitions, sale, and leasing arrangements. She has been operating Sandhya Sondhi Associates, her independent real estate practice, since 2004.
