Submissions are now open for The Macallan ALB Hong Kong Law Awards do not miss your opportunity to nominate outstanding private practitioners and in-house teams. Now on its 16th year, these prestigious awards recognise and celebrate Hong Kong’s top deals, dealmakers and lawyers. 

Hong Kong’s legal market is robust and dynamic, and a total of 45 award categories up for grabs: 4 for deal awards, 25 for firm awards, 11 for in-house awards and 6 for individual awards. New award categories will also be launched, such as Transactional Boutique Law Firm of the Year and Dispute Resolution Boutique Law Firm  open to firms specialising in practice areas with no more than 15 partners.

New individual awards include Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year and Woman Lawyer of the Year, which ALB is bringing back in partnership with Women in Law HK. On the in-house side, new awards include Retail and Luxury Brands In-House Team of the Year, Hospitality In-House Team of the Year and Innovative In-House Team of the Year. 

The black-tie gala and awards ceremony will take place on September 8 at the Conrad Hong Kong. 

The event promises recognition, transparency and inclusion. ALB looks forward to welcoming past participants and winners, as well as new joiners from domestic firms and companies. Finalists and winners will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise alongside legal, business and government leaders from Hong Kong and the region.
