Indian law firm Veritas Legal has appointed banking and finance specialist Zubin Mehta as a partner in Mumbai from AZB & Partners. 

Mehta was a senior associate at his previous firm for 10 years, where he acted on transactions related to banking and finance, fintech and aviation finance. 

He started his career at Dave & Girish & Co. in Mumbai as an associate, advising on various banking and non-banking financial institutions on various legal and regulatory matters.  

Mehta was also seconded as an associate at Standard Chartered Bank for six months before joining AZB & Partners.
