Simmons & Simmons has hired Michael Chin as a partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial practice in Hong Kong from Hogan Lovells. 

Chin advises on an extensive range of corporate transactions across the Asia-Pacific region, covering sectors such as automotive, clean energy, life sciences, and TMT. He has represented multi-national and Chinese clients on various public and private M&A transactions as well as supported fundraising and investments by private equity and venture capital funds.  

“Michael’s expertise in private equity and venture capital will further deepen our client offering, particularly for those looking to enter or expand in the Greater China market,” said Paul Li, the firm’s head of Asia, in a statement.
