Indian law firm Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas has hired banking and restructuring specialist Veena Sivaramakrishnan as a partner in its Mumbai office from Juris Corp.

Sivaramakrishnan is experienced in advising clients in the banking, restructuring and financial services. Her specialties include derivatives, private banking and corporate banking.

She began her career as an associate with Juris Corp in 2004, and later worked at ICICI Bank as an in-house lawyer, handling private banking, treasury, and other U.S. and Europe operations. She also had a brief stint with Davis Polk & Wardwell.
