Submissions for the ALB Philippine Law Awards 2017 are now open. Now on its second year, the event will bring together the brightest and finest law practitioners in the Philippines.

To make this event a more inclusive and engaging platform, ALB has introduced several changes in the research methodology this year. The 2017 awards will present a larger number of categories, 36 to be exact. Entirely new categories have also been added this year, such as Dealmaker of the Year and Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year for the individual awards, and Equity Market Deal of the Year.

Law firms can also vie to be the Dispute Resolution Boutique Law Firm of the Year, Transactional Boutique Law Firm of the Year, and Immigration Law Firm of the Year.

Meanwhile, in-house teams can compete to be the Food & Beverage In-House Team of the Year, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare In-House Team of the Year, and Conglomerate In-House Team of the Year.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, August 28.

Following the months-long research and preparation for this prestigious event, ALB will host a black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony on October 6 in Manila, at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.
