Davinder Singh SC has become the new executive chairman of Singapore Big Four law firm Drew & Napier, bringing to an end a two-decade stint as the firm's CEO. That role is being assumed by Cavinder Bull SC, co-head of Drew's competition law and regulatory practice.

“Singh and Bull will lead the firm together with Jimmy Yim SC, the deputy chairman, and Sushil Nair, the deputy CEO,” said the firm in a statement to ALB.

Bull, who specialises in complex litigation and international arbitration, is involved in trial and appellate advocacy at all levels of the Singapore Courts. He has also served as counsel in international arbitration in various countries.

Last December, Singh was appointed as chairman of Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), replacing Lucien Wong, Singapore’s incumbent attorney-general and former chairman and senior partner at Allen & Gledhill.
