Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz (ACCRALAW),  SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan and Quisumbing Torres are at the forefront of nominations for the 2017 ALB Philippine Law Awards. Now on its second year, the event will be held on October 6 at the Makati Shangri-La Manila. 

The three firms have 12 nominations each, excluding deals categories. Following closely are Gatmaytan Yap Patacsil Gutierrez & Protacio and Gorriceta Africa Cauton & Saavedra, with eight and seven nominations, respectively.

On the in-house side, the legal teams of Lazada E-Services Philippines, Aboitiz Equity Ventures Sun Life and Accenture are leading the nominations.

This year’s edition of PLA features new categories such as Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year, Dealmaker of the Year, Immigration Law Firm of the Year, Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law Firm of the Year and Technology, Media and Telecommunications In-House Team of the Year.
