WongPartnership has adopted Contract Express, an advanced document automation technology from Thomson Reuters, to enhance productivity and its legal service offerings.

Contract Express is designed to be easily deployed and simple to scale, allowing law firms to quickly embrace modern digital document drafting.

The intuitive technology also lets lawyers automate templates inside Microsoft Word by using a mark-up function and streamlining the process of document creation.

“Contract Express is used by some of the world’s most forward-looking law firms who see it as a means to achieve greater internal efficiencies and savings, while at the same time differentiating them in the market and delivering their legal services in increasingly innovative ways,” said Tony Kinnear, Thomson Reuters’ ASEAN and North Asia managing director, in a statement.

WongPartnership has rolled out WPGateway on its website to make Contract Express accessible to its clients. Through this portal, clients who have subscribed to the service will be able to generate certain standardised documents, said the firm in a media release.

“Technology is changing the way law is practiced and as such, technological innovation must be a cornerstone of our firm’s growth,” said Ng Wai King, managing partner at WongPartnership. “Working with Thomson Reuters will drive greater productivity at the firm across a range of technology solutions in our bid to continue delivering high-quality and innovative services to our clients.”
