Offshore law firm Walkers has hired Callum McNeil as a partner in the firm’s insolvency, restructuring and dispute resolution group in Hong Kong from the British Virgin Islands office of Campbells.

McNeil has experience across the contentious sector, with particular expertise in investment funds disputes, shareholder disputes, cross-border insolvency and trust litigation.

“We continue to see a rise in Asia-related shareholder and investment disputes and trust litigation, and, of course, maintain a very strong flow of restructuring and insolvency related work. Callum's wide-ranging experience in all of these areas will be highly sought-after in this growing market," said Fraser Hern, head of the insolvency, restructuring and dispute resolution group in Asia and Middle East, in a statement.

With the addition of McNeil, Walkers’ Hong Kong office now has 34 lawyers, including 13 partners.
