LAWnB, a South Korea-based online legal information and education service owned by Thomson Reuters, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korean Bar Association (KBA) to offer young lawyers affordable access to legal research.

Under the terms of the MoU, LAWnB will offer a 90 percent discount on its annual subscription to 500 young attorneys. The agreement will thus give young Korean lawyers a superior legal research tool at a much more affordable rate than usual.

These lawyers will be selected jointly by LAWnB and the KBA. The MoU defines young attorneys as those with less than five years of experience.

The signing ceremony, which took place at LAWnB’s office, was attended by Hyun Kim, president of the KBA and two directors of the association’s board.
