Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas has appointed corporate specialist Nivedita Tiwari as partner in its New Delhi office from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Tiwari, who has more than 15 years of experience in corporate and commercial laws, will be a part of SAM’s General Corporate practice. She has represented private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, and international and Indian corporates on structuring investments, formulating entry and exit strategies, advising on governance issues and restructuring of businesses.

Prior to joining CAM, Tiwari worked at Platinum Partners. After starting her career at AZB & Partners, she joined Luthra & Luthra, where she became a partner.
