The recently merged Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has named Andrew MacGeoch as the managing partner of its Hong Kong and Singapore offices as it officially launches under its new name in the two Asian cities.

Apart from this role, MacGeoch will also serve as the head of BCLP’s Asia Real Estate and Infrastructure and global co-head of the firm’s Hospitality & Leisure Group. 

BCLP, which was formed following the merger between Bryan Cave and Berwin Leighton Paisner, received approvals from the partnerships of both firms in February this year. The merged firm began operating under its new name in the U.S. and UK in April.

The Hong Kong office operated in association with Haley Ho & Partners when the legacy BLP acquired it in 2015.  It now operates in one network under Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. 

In Hong Kong and Singapore, the lawyers will provide services across the following sectors: Real estate, energy and infrastructure, asset finance, litigation and corporate risk, and contentious construction and engineering, corporate, and private wealth asset protection.

BCLP has 1,400 lawyers in 32 offices globally. In Asia, it has offices in Beijing and Shanghai, apart from Hong Kong and Singapore.
