Dentons has expanded its reach further in the ASEAN region after adding Indonesia’s Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners (HPRP) as a member. 

The firm will take on the name Dentons HPRP, and join existing member firms in Myanmar, Singapore, and Malaysia to form the newly established Dentons ASEAN Region. Malaysia’s Zain & Co. joined Dentons as a member firm about a week ago.

The fifth-largest law firm in Indonesia according to last year’s ALB Top 50, HPRP was previously a member of the RHTLaw Taylor Wessing-led ASEAN Plus Group network. Its practice areas include corporate and commercial, employment and litigation, financial services, intellectual property, international trade, real estate, transportation, and resources and infrastructure. 

With this addition, Dentons has a presence in 75 countries globally.
