Magic circle firm looking for associates to join their Tokyo office.
The hiring partner specialises in all areas of competition law, including global cartel defence, merger reviews, investigations on unilateral conducts, competitor cooperation, and various vertical issues across a broad range of industries, in particular the chemical, consumer goods, telecom, technology, energy, transport and healthcare sectors.
They are looking for someone with either native Japanese and great English OR excellent English and business level Japanese (read/write/speak with clients).
- Open on qualification (Oz, UK, US etc)
- Does not have to have ACT experience (can be corporate, DR etc)
- Top academics and peer firm training preferred
- International candidates are welcomed to apply
- Ideally someone in the region or in the European, US or ANZ markets looknig for a move to Asia or a return home
