Morgan Lewis & Bockius has continued its hiring in Asia by adding two corporate partners in Tokyo from Morrison & Foerster; Motonori “Moto” Araki and Mitsuyoshi “Mitsu” Saito. Araki will serve as Tokyo managing partner.

Araki and Saito’s hires come shortly after Morgan Lewis’ appointed two partners from Simmons & Simmons -- Karun Cariappa and Helen Fok, in Singapore and Hong Kong, respectively.

Araki previously worked with Morgan Lewis, and leaving in 2007 as a partner. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, intellectual property licensing, and international dispute resolution involving a variety of industries.

Saito advises on corporate, dispute resolution, and labour and employment-related matters in industries such as electronics, information technology, chemistry, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

Morgan Lewis has offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Almaty, and Astana as well as in Tokyo.
