Withers has continued its Asia expansion after hiring commercial disputes specialists Soo Khim Keoy and Amarjit Kaur from Baker McKenzie and Morgan Lewis Stamford, respectively. 

Keoy, who joins in Hong Kong has more than two decades of experience in multi-jurisdictional corporate, commercial and insolvency disputes in court – at trial and at the appellate level – and in arbitration. He has also assisted clients in investigations involving the Securities and Futures Commission and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong

Kaur, who joins in Singapore, developed and headed the employment and global mobility practice at Morgan Lewis Stamford. She represents companies and individuals in shareholder, corporate insolvency, employment, professional negligence and construction disputes.

The hires come shortly after Withers appointed six new partners in Tokyo. Earlier this year  Withers KhattarWong appointed restructuring and insolvency specialist Justin Yip as a partner in its dispute resolution team.
