Indian law firm HSA Advocates has enhanced its regulatory and disputes practice in Delhi by hiring Apoorva Misra as partner, and Shreshth Sharma and Nitish Gupta as associate partners.

While Misra was an in-house counsel at Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Ltd, Sharma was an in-house counsel Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, and Gupta was a principal associate at DSK Legal.

With over 17 years of experience in regulatory & policy, Misra’s focus is on regulatory disputes in the power, oil & gas and mining sectors. He is experienced in environment laws, and the regulated infrastructure sectors. Misra earlier worked with J. Sagar Associates and Trilegal.

Sharma has more than 15 years of experience in handling disputes. His focus is on civil and regulatory litigation, and he specialises in policy, regulatory and contractual disputes. He was earlier with Interglobe Enterprises Ltd and J. Sagar Associates.

With over nine years of experience in regulatory litigation as well as dispute resolution service laws and public law remedies, Gupta has undertaken litigation concerning subjects like electricity, commercial arbitration, issues pertaining to interpretation of commercial contracts, IP rights and contract laws.

HSA has been expanding steadily over the past few months. In September, the firm took over four-lawyer Bengaluru-based boutique Atman Law Partners.
