Singapore’s RHTLaw Taylor Wessing has hired aviation expert Rajaram Ramiah as a partner from local boutique Quahe Woo & Palmer, where he was a consultant.

With over 24 years of experience in the aviation industry, Ramiah represents airlines and aircraft operators in the Asia-Pacific Region in transactions such as the leasing, purchase/sale and financing of commercial aircraft, business jets and in the acquisition of new generation aircraft. He also advises on aviation regulatory matters, structuring of transactions and in the repossession of aircraft.

Besides aviation law, Ramiah’s areas of practice include commercial, corporate and civil & criminal litigation.

Ramiah’s appointment comes a few months RHT hired Yang Eu Jin as the co-head of its capital markets practice.
