Hong Kong law firm Tanner De Witt has hired Kevin Bowers as a consultant from Howse Williams Bowers (HWB), a firm that he co-founded in 2012.
Bowers, a commercial disputes lawyer with more than two decades of experience in Hong Kong, started HWB with Chris Howse and Christopher Williams. All three were partners at the legacy Hong Kong firm Richards Butler, which merged with Reed Smith shortly prior to their departure.
Specialising in commercial, insurance and employment litigation and dispute resolution both in Hong Kong and internationally, Bowers was also a partner at Deacons previously.
Tanner De Witt recently hired Michael Kot as a solicitor from Ribeiro Hui. A few months before that, the firm snapped up Pádraig Walsh from Bird & Bird as a corporate partner. Tanner De Witt currently has 13 partners.
