Sabara Law, Big Four accounting firm Deloitte’s Singaporean law practice, has appointed corporate lawyer David Teo as a director from local firm Donaldson & Burkinshaw.

Teo’s practice areas include corporate and commercial law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions as well as tax advisory.

Prior to joining Donaldson & Burkinshaw in 2014, Teo was a director at Duane Morris & Selvam. Earlier, he worked at Allen & Gledhill.

Sabara Law, which joined the Deloitte network in November last year, was set up by Yeoh Lian Chuan, a former partner at Singapore law firms Allen & Gledhill and Rajah & Tann. Deloitte was the third Big Four accounting firm, after rivals PwC and EY, to acquire a local law capability in Singapore.
