Indian law firm Argus Partners has appointed Abeezar E. Faizullabhoy as a senior partner, and Shahen Pradhan and Murtaza Kachwalla as partners in the Mumbai office. All three disputes partners join from HSA Advocates.

The three new partners will join the disputes team at Argus, which is led by Ranjit Shetty.

Faizullabhoy started his career with Mulla & Mulla and Craigie Blunt & Caroe in 1990, followed by J. Sagar Associates (JSA) where he was a partner for nine years. He later became the group CEO of Aditya Resources DMCC and was responsible for the development of a 3600 MW power plant in India and other off-shore acquisitions and investments. He then went on to join HSA Advocates, where he spent more than four years as a senior partner.

Pradhan and Kachwalla are also experienced in commercial litigation and have been involved in matters before the Bombay High Court. Pradhan joined HSA from JSA, while Kachwalla joined HSA from ALMT Legal.
