Morgan Lewis Stamford, the Singapore law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, has rehired corporate specialist Vanessa Ng as a director from Fortis Law Corporation. She will also be a partner of the U.S. firm.

Ng was previously a senior associate at Stamford Law Corporation prior to the merger with Morgan Lewis. She then went on to become a partner at Shook Lin & Bok.

Specialising in corporate finance, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions for listed and unlisted companies, takeovers, general offers, and other corporate transactions, Ng also advises clients on continuing listing obligations as well as other capital market transactions such as initial public offerings, placements, rights issues, and share buy-backs.

Ng’s appointment comes after shortly after the hire of banking and finance lawyer Guan Feng Chen as a partner by Morgan Lewis Stamford and at a time when Morgan Lewis & Bockius has been adding partners across Asia, including Karun Cariappa, Helen Fok, Motonori Araki and Mitsuyoshi Saito.

Ng will be joined by corporate associate Ee Vin Wong.
