Offshore law firm Harneys has hired banking and finance expert Lishi Fong as a partner in Singapore from Norton Rose Fulbright where she was an of counsel. 

Fong, who will head the firm’s transactional practice in Singapore, specialises in international banking, including cross-border syndicated bank financings, acquisition finance and structured trade, and commodities finance. She has worked on transactions in Myanmar, China, Indonesia and India.

Last month, Harneys named James Noble as the new managing partner of its Singapore office. With the appointment of Fong, Harneys’ Singapore team currently has two partners, four counsel and three associates.
