U.S. dispute resolution firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has hired arbitration and ADR specialist Tony Andriotis as a partner from Hughes Hubbard & Reed, where he was a counsel, and the firm’s sole lawyer in the Japanese capital.

Andriotis appears in JCAA, ICC, SIAC and ICDR arbitration. Among others, he has represented pharmaceutical companies in regards to both class-action product liability cases, and contractual disputes.

Andriotis had two stints with Hughes Hubbard, with the first being as an associate in the New York office. He was also a foreign legal counsel for Nishimura & Asahi between 2010 and 2014.

His arrival takes Quinn Emanuel’s Tokyo office to three partners, the others being York M. Faulkner and Ryan S. Goldstein.
