Indian law firm Argus Partners has hired corporate specialist Vinod Joseph as a partner in Mumbai from Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), where he was India general counsel.
Joseph, who has nearly two decades of experience in the legal field, was earlier general counsel at IDFC Alternatives. He became the India general counsel at GIP after it acquired IDFC Alternatives. Joseph’s other in-house roles have including senior stints at Brand Capital at Bennett Coleman (Times Group) and Kotak Mahindra. He was also a partner at Dua Associates.
Apart from Joseph and managing partner Krishnava Dutt, Argus Partners has 17 partners in total. They include senior partner Abeezar E. Faizullabhoy and partners Shahen Pradhan and Murtaza Kachwalla, who recently joined from HSA Advocates.
