Richard Wee, a former dispute resolution partner at Malaysian law firm MahWengKwai & Associates (MWKA), has left the firm to start his own boutique, Richard Wee Chambers (RWC).

Joining Wee at RWC are two other MWKA partners – Lesley Lim and Marlysa Razak – and three associates. 

RWC will provide legal services related to labour and employment, property, companies and contracts, sports and e-sports, criminal defence, probate, wills and administration, trusts, tourism and hospitality, and transport, logistics and warehousing.

This is not the first firm that Wee has started during his career. In 2009, he co-founded Richard Wee Lopez, which was renamed Richard Wee & Yip in 2010. Besides dispute resolution, he also focuses on sports law, trust law and civil liberty issues.
