Baldev Bhinder, a former energy and resources partner at Singapore law firm Joseph Tan Jude Benny, has left the firm along with a junior lawyer to start a boutique called Blackstone & Gold.
The energy and commodities-focused firm aims to offer services in areas like mining and exploration, shipping, processing and storage, trading and production in countries like Indonesia, India, China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam and Australia.
Bhinder, who holds the post of the managing director at the firm, has more than 14 years of experience with firms like JTJB, Ashurst, White & Case, Watson Farley & Williams, and Rajah & Tann.
