US law firm would like to hire an associate to join their expanding Singapore office to focus on cross-border private equity and M&A transactions. US Rated for US associate. Mid range target billable hours for bonus.
The firm is looking for a motivated junior to mid-level associate to join its Corporate team in Singapore to focus on cross-border private equity and M&A transactions. Great mentorship, training and career path.
- Singapore or UK qualification is preferred although consideration will be given to New York qualified candidates with cross border private equity experience.
- 2 to 4 years' post qualification experience with relevant experience gained in a leading law firm
- Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure, and a good team player.
- Native English (written and spoken) and Mandarin or another Asian language preferred, but not essential
- Excellent partner mentorship.
- International candidates are welcome to apply and will be relocated
Key duties
Handling due diligence, documentation, negotiation and transaction management primarily in relation to cross border, multi jurisdictional private equity and M&A matters across a broad range of sectors.
Advising on general corporate matters and restructurings involving Asian, U.S. and European clients.
Advising on joint ventures and consortium arrangements.
