CNPLaw has welcomed back corporate and commercial lawyer Jimmy Yap as partner in Singapore from local boutique Angeline Suparto Law Corporation, where he was a senior legal consultant.

Yap first joined CNP, which was previously known as Colin Ng & Partners, in 2006; he left at the end of 2011 to take up an in-house role at Changi Airport. He joined Angeline Suparto in November 2014, and his areas of practice there included corporate advisory and legal due diligence for IPOs and M&As, as well as SGX listing compliance and investment advisory in Singapore and Indonesia.

“Jimmy will boost the firm’s profile in the area of corporate and commercial practice; in particular, in regional mergers & acquisitions with a strong focus on Indonesia,” said Lisa Theng, CNP’s managing partner, in a statement. “He will also bring to the firm his expertise and experience in the area of construction adjudication.”
