India’s DMD Advocates has hired competition lawyer Vivek Agarwal as a partner in the firm’s Delhi office from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, where he was a principal associate.

Agarwal has been involved in the drafting and the finalisation of India’s Combination Regulations, working closely with the Competition Commission of India and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. 

Agarwal started his career at the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co in 2009, and became a part of SAM after the Amarchand split in 2015.
