Horizon requires a motivated and experienced individual that can multi-task for our growing business. You will be a focused individual that has knowledge of the Asian legal markets for both private practice, in house legal and compliance roles.
Horizon Recruitment is a search firm specialising in placing high calibre candidates into private practice (Am Law 100, Big Law, Magic Circle), in house, compliance and government affairs roles throughout Asia. Our key placement markets are Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing and Australia. We work with candidates all over the world.
You will be joining a search agency that has a strong, pre-existing client base and candidate pool developed since 2012.
We work across all private practice areas and our in house roles span various industry sectors such as media, technology, entertainment, sports, insurance, management consultancy, manufacturing, healthcare and financial institutions.
Key Candidate Requirements:
- can do attitude/individual who will take ownership and have the ability to 360 the client search
- knowledge of the Asian legal landscape, major international firms and MNCs doing business or starting operations in APAC
- personable and professional business manner
- previous experience working at a law firm or as part of an in house legal team is necessary (whether as a lawyer, paralegal or assistant)
- excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Mandarin language skills preferred
- organised, discreet and dependable
- stable work history
Responsibilities will include:
- sourcing candidates and researching the legal market
- drafting job posts for various advertising platforms
- managing client and candidate data
- interviewing and screening shortlisted candidates
- sourcing new relationships and business opportunities with new clients where necessary
- managing calls from potential clients and candidates in a professional and confidential manner
- delivering consistent high quality advice to both clients and candidates
