India’s Vishnu Mehra & Co. has entered into an alliance with Malaysian law firm Malek, Paulian & Gan (MPG) as the two firms aim to enhance their cross-border legal offerings.
In a joint statement, the firms said that while the agreement “would strengthen the existing professional ties between partners of both law firms,” it would also focus on "cross-border legal advisory services in the fields of alternative dispute resolution and corporate transactions for the mutual benefit of both law firms and their respective clients.”
Founded in 2016, MPG is a three-partner boutique that focuses on advisory, dispute resolution, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Meanwhile, Vishnu Mehra & Co. is headed up by managing partner Karan Mehra, who was previously at the legacy Amarchand Mangaldas. The firm specialises in corporate and commercial transactions, as well as civil and commercial litigation and arbitration.
